Babar Azam was the chief architect of Pakistan’s win due to his century that was first in 32 years from any non-opening batsman after Salim Malik.
The stylish batsman also completed his 3000 runs and became the second fastest in the history of the game to do so.
Pakistan will have to beat Bangladesh and Afghanistan and hope other results go in their favours to qualify for the semi-final. ‘
