Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt talked about her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘troubled past’ with his ex-girlfriends in her latest interview.

Alia and Ranbir have been dating steadily for the past one year now. Previously, Ranbir had dated actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif before bitter he broke up with both of them.

Now, the actor has moved on and is good friends with both Katrina and Deepika. Both are good friends with even Alia Bhatt.

In a recent interview, Alia said that the perception about Ranbir that he was a ‘difficult’ person was false.

“He’s not difficult. He’s a gem. But he’s had a troubled past… How does it matter? It’s a part of someone’s life,” she said.

The actress said that Ranbir and she were in a good place as far as their relationship was concerned. Alia said that Ranbir and she hardly got to spend time together as they both were busy shooting for their own projects.

“It’s not a situation where you’ll see us constantly together. That’s the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage,” she said.

Alia said that she knew Ranbir was the man for her when they both met for the first time.
“He’s such a nice human being that I wish I was as good as him. As an actor, as a person, as everything. He’s way better a person than I am,” she said.

Alia shared that Ranbir gave her valuable advice on not to get stressed about her movies’ performance at the box office.

She said that the Barfi actor advised her to just give her hundred percent and then stop worrying as whatever has to happen will happen.

“That calmed me down a lot,” she said.

In the interview, the actress also shared that she had sought professional help at one point in time for her stress and anxiety. Alia said that she got ‘wild’ at parties where she didn’t know people as she couldn’t do small talk.

“I even get stressed if my friends are having problems. I have this desire to feel liked and loved. I don’t want people not to like me,” she said.
