Sharjeel Khan among 170 players register in gold category for PSL 5
LAHORE: Tainted opening batsman Sharjeel Khan has registered himself in the gold category for the upcoming fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Sharjeel is currently undergoing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s rehabilitation program and his participation will be based on his progress.
The PCB has revealed the players’ list in the gold category for the PSL 5. The list contains 144 foreign players while 27 locals. Moreover, the cricket board has revealed that a total of 325 locals are part of gold, silver, and emerging categories of the event.

It must be noted here that the retention window is open and franchises can trade players by or before December 1. Each team can retain eight players from the last edition. The draft for PSL 5 is scheduled in the first week of December.
