DHAKA: Former Pakistan star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi among seven Pakistani cricketers have been picked in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Draft.
According to information available here, Dhaka Platoon picked up former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi, veteran left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz and hard-hitting batsman Asif Ali.
While Khulna Tigers bagged the services of fast-bowler Mohammad Amir.
Rajshahi Royals picked all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz and pacer Mohammad Irfan, meanwhile Chattogram Challengers roped in all-rounder Imad Wasim.
The BPL — which was dogged by match-fixing scandals and delayed pay for some foreign players — has been renamed the Bangabandhu BPL and will kick off on December 11.
