KARACHI: Former Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed said that he is confident to make a comeback in the national cricket team.

While adressing a presser in Karachi, Sarfaraz said “I want to play for Pakistan and I won’t be bothered by the fact that someone else is captaining the side.”

He said that he just want to play for Pakistan no matter who the captain is.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had removed Sarfaraz Ahmed as captain from all formats, with immediate effect.

The wicketkeeper-batsman was also dropped from the side for the tour of Australia and had been asked by the PCB to regain form in domestic cricket, inorder to be a part of the side in the future.
