LAHORE: Talented Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi shared a throwback photo of his first cricket trial five years ago.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Afridi, who was in the news for wrong reasons, revealed that he had borrowed his shirt, trousers, bowling shoes and cap from his elder brothers for the first cricket rial of his life in 2015.

“But I got selected & went to represent U16 Pak in Australia. Rest is history, Alhumdulillah. Keep me in your prayers,” the cricketer tweeted.

The 19-year-old made his international cricket debut against West Indies in Karachi on April 3, 2018. He has already bagged 66 wickets in international cricket since making his debut.
