Royal couple plays cricket in NCA

LAHORE: The Royal couple showed off their cricketing skills during their visit to National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Thursday.

According to details, Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived at the academy where Chairman PCB Ehsan Mani and MD PCB Wasim Khan warmly welcomed the guests.

William and Kate met national team’s bowling coach Waqar Younis, Cricketers Azhar Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali and former captain of Pakistan women’s team Sana Mir at the prestigious function where they learned about the programme promoting sport as an integral part of child development, encouraging social integration, increased self-esteem and skills development.

The officials also presented some gifts to the Royal couple including a cricket bat for their children.
