KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly demanded a separate quota for Sindh players in the Pakistan cricket team.

Hussain said that a lobby was behind Sarfaraz’s removal and he decided to table the resolution, after the Punjab Assembly moved a motion to remove Sarfaraz from captaincy.

The resolution was adopted unanimously by the members in the session chaired by Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.

It is worth mentioning here that Sarfaraz was removed as Pakistan’s captain from all formats after the Men in Green were clean swept by Sri Lanka.
