Opposition to sit on the Azadi March matter today
ISLAMABAD: The opposition will gather for an all-parties conference (APC) on Monday to plan its future course of action concerning the Azadi March in Islamabad.
The meeting, to be chaired by JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman, will also be attended by party leaders Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Nayyar Bukhari, Naveed Qamar, and Farhatullah Babar.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, who also addressed the Azadi March rally in the federal capital, will not be attending the moot due to his scheduled rally in South Punjab.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has also announced a party meeting to discuss the ongoing political situation and will discuss further matters in Azadi March.
Azadi March, which had set off from Sindh, completed its round in Lahore and reached Islamabad Thursday night, has entered its fourth day.
The anti-government rally embarked on its journey after reaching an agreement with the ruling party, under which the protesters cannot enter the sensitive “Red Zone” in the federal capital.
