PM Imran Khan grieves over train fire victims
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep grief over loss of lives in a fire that engulfed a passenger train in Rahim Yar Khan town of Punjab on Thursday morning.
In a message, PM Khan also extended his condolences to the bereaved families and ordered best medical treatment to the victims.
Deeply saddened by the terrible tragedy of the Tezgam train. My condolences go to the victims’ families & prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. I have ordered an immediate inquiry to be completed on an urgent basis.

At least 62 passengers died when three carriages of Tezgam caught fire following a gas cylinder explosion.
According to sources, Tableeghi Jamaat members cooking breakfast when the cylinder exploded.
Many passengers jumped off the moving train in a desperate to save their lives but many of them ended up dead.
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed blamed passengers for carrying the cylinders inside the train in violation of the safety rules.
He promised a transparent probe into the fire incident.
