Over 50 Sindh bandits lay down arms
SUKKUR: A group of bandits in interior Sindh laid down theirs arms and presented themselves to Rangers on Thursday.
According to officials, more than 50 armed robbers surrendered at a ceremony which was attended by Rangers Commandant Sajid Ali, DIG Larkana Irfan Baloch and DC Munawar Ali.
The outlaws belong to Choliani, Sindrani. Ogahi, Taighani, Sabzoi and other tribes of the rural Sindh.
The group gave up their weapons including rifles, klashankoves and others.
The Rangers officials, attending the event, assured that those who laid down their arms would be integrated into national mainstream.
