PPP lawmaker accuses Khurram Sher Zaman of chewing gum during assembly session
KARACHI: PTI’s MPA Khurram Sher Zaman was accused of chewing gum and ‘hiding it inside his mouth’ by a PPP lawmaker during a session of the Sindh Assembly, on Tuesday.
The PTI MPA, when asked about it, became silent and closed his mouth then and there. He was accused by PPP’s MPA Zulfikar Shah of hiding the gum inside his mouth. The PPP MPA asked the deputy speaker to check Zaman’s mouth.
The deputy speaker helplessly asked: “How can I check his mouth?”
Zaman had asked PPP members to return to the assembly after they had left to get tea. Shah claimed that while the PPP members were getting tea, Zaman was chewing gum during the session.
Zaman had claimed that while the chief minister was busy planting trees, the DMC was busy cutting them down.
