RAWALPINDI: DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor taunted the Indian Air Force by telling them that the skill of the men flying a fighter jet matters, not the machine alone.

Taking to Twitter, the DG ISPR made a reference to the recent Rafale puja done by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

“Nothing wrong in #RafalePuja as it goes by the religion and that must be respected. Please remember….it’s not the machine alone which matters but competence, passion & resolve of the men handling that machine.Proud of our PAF Shaheens. #PAFtheMenAtTheirBest,” he tweeted.

Singh had performed a ‘Shastra Puja’ on the first unit of the French-made Rafale fighter jets that the IAF got.

In February, Pakistan shot down two planes of the IAF who intruded into Pakistani territory. A day earlier, Indian jets had bombed Balakot and claimed that more than 350 terrorists had been killed.
India has yet not presented any evidence to back its claims so far.
