Awan slams Fazl as he announces Azadi March against PTI govt
Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced an anti-government rally to be held on October 27 — leaving PMN-N and PPP uncertain as they are yet to confirm their participation.
Commenting on the initiative, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on Media and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said the move was rather invested in self-interest.
“We will not let innocent Madrassa children be exploited for political gains,” she responded a day after Fazl called upon the nation to join him in the rally.
Stating this, she added that those who are looking to raid Islamabad should focus on raiding Line of Control (LoC), calling the JUI-F chief to make a difference with his vast experience on matters pertaining to held Kashmir.
A day earlier, Fazl accused the ruling government of making its place through fake elections and fake results.
“Groups of people from all over the country will embark on this journey which will be held in Islamabad. We will gather at D-Chowk,” he said.
