Ali Zafar hits back at Atif Aslam for mimicking him
Pakistani singer, actor and producer Ali Zafar has finally responded to Atif Aslam for mimicking him at an award show.
Ali had appeared on the Munshi Show, hosted by Momin Munshi, to talk about Atif, who had mimicked him at the 16th Lux Style Awards.
When asked why he seemed annoyed by his expressions, Ali said that he hadn’t even attended the show in the first place.
“I was never there,” he said. “The clip of my reaction that they posted was from another award show,” he added.
Ali hit back at Atif, saying that he didn’t think the mimicry was a good one.
“I don’t think it was on-point,” he said, laughing.
Ali spoke about other things on the show as well, about how Hania Amir was the first choice for the lead actress for ‘Teefa in Trouble’.
“When we were about to cast a heroine for Teefa in Trouble, Maya was not the first choice,” he said. “Hania was the first choice and it was about to happen. However, that didn’t happen due to a number of reasons.”
Ali said during the interview that he would love to work with Mawra Hocane and Saba Qamar.
