Akhtar, Younis slam PCB over T20 series loss against new-look Sri Lanka
LAHORE: Former Pakistan cricket greats Shoaib Akhtar, Younis Khan and cricket expert Dr Nauman Niaz ripped apart the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and its policies.
While sharing his views on Youtube channel, the Rawalpindi Express questioning the PCB’s decision to give full power and authority to coach Misbah-ul-Haq.

“PCB has forgotten how to build a team and they are simply trying to save money,” said Akhtar.
The former pace spearhead said that the Pakistan cricket will never improve by giving one person the entire power and responsibility.
While giving the example of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) former Test cricketer Younis Khan said that Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid are finding talent at the grassroot level and Pakistan needs to rope in former players to help the team.
“Virat Kohli is a bowler’s captain. Kohli is not doing captaincy when he is with the bowlers, he is enjoying the bowlers rattling the opposition. It is a good thing that Indian bowlers have such a good captain,” Akhtar added further.
