AC extends remand of Zardari, Faryal
ISLAMABAD: An accountability court (AC) on Friday extended the judicial remand of former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur until October 22.
Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted the hearing of money laundering cases and Park Lane Estate Company references.
The brother-sister duo were produced before the court.
Dunya quoted the judge as saing that a course of action should be determined to avoid delay in proceedings.
NAB Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar argued that a procedure was determined earlier as well, to with the judge replied that the number of accused has now surged to 30 from 2.
PPP chairman and Asif Ali Zardari’s son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met his father at the judicial complex along with sisters Assefa Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari.
