World Snooker champions want financial support from PM Imran Khan
World Snooker Champions, Pakistan’s Asjad Iqbal and Mohammad Bilal has appealed to the Prime Minister Imran Khan to support them financially.
In a video message, Asjad and Bilal, who bagged gold and silver in recently concluded 1st SAARC Snooker Championship in Sri Lanka, urged Imran Khan to look after other sports apart from cricket.
Cueiest Bilal said that he had spent the money, which he saved for roof-filling of his house, on my participation in the event. Now, he want some financial support for the construction of his house.
Meanwhile, Asjad said that he took loan to participate in the event. Now, the government should help him to return that loan.
It is worth mentioning here that Asjad Iqbal claimed Gold Medal while Muhammad Bilal won Silver after both the finalist defeated their Indian counterparts in the semi-final of 1st SAARC Snooker Championship in Sri Lanka.
