Stop trying to reach me through friends: Reham Khan to PM Imran
LONDON: Reham Khan, former wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has vowed to keep up pressure on the PTI government.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Reham rejected the notion that she was talking against Pakistan in her interviews to Indian media.
The former BBC weather girl claimed that PM Khan had tried to reach her through friends.
“I say this clearly for all busy with a propaganda against me that I am talking against Pakistan. Reham is NOT a puppet nor a PM hopeful nor does she stand to make estates in the U.S with war money like your fathers have. Stop trying to reach me through friends,” she tweeted.
Reham said that she would not listen to “corrupt strangers.”
“Have I ever listened? If I could not compromise on my idealism in a marriage do they really believe I will listen to corrupt strangers?,” she said in response to a Twitter user.
In another tweet, she deplored the Indian move to revoke special status for Kashmir.
“#Kashmir is about an unconstitutional move. #Kashmir is about not taking parliament into confidence & violating democratic process. #Kashmir is about ancestral rights #Kashmir is violation of civil liberties.Sadly both sides are using their own right wing extremism politics on it,” she added.
