Sri Lankan skipper satisfied with security arrangements in Karachi
Pakistan is a safe country, international teams should come here, says Lahiru Thrimanne
KARACHI: Sri Lanka cricket team captain Lahiru Thirimanne satisfied with security arrangements in Karachi and asked other international teams to tour Pakistan.
While talking to reporters in Karachi, Thrimanne said “So far so good, I feel safe here. The people here are so amazing and we are receiving immense response from the cricket fans.”
To a query about not having main players in the side, Thirimanne said that they will have an impact with the players they have and all the young faces have the chance to come under consideration for the future.
Thirimanne, who has played 35 Tests, 125 ODIs and 26 T20Is, will be leading Sri Lanka side in ODIs in absence of their regular captain Dimuth Karunratne who refused to travel to Pakistan.
