Cricket Australia’s (CA’s) Chief Executive Kevin Roberts and Head of Security Sean Carroll are all set to meet with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials in Lahore, but PCB reportedly does not expect the Prime Minister Imran Khan to be a part of these discussions.

The meeting would mark the first time in a decade that a high-ranking delegation from Australia would arrive in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the MD PCB feels that the meeting would build confidence between the two countries.

“The visit by Kevin Robert will be the first high-level visit by a Cricket Australia delegation in more than a decade. The PCB is viewing this as an important visit as it will help in relationship and confidence building exercise between the two boards,” Khan said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Wasim was hopeful that the meeting would provide first-hand experience for the Australian officials with regards to the security condition of the country.
