MNAs Mohsin Dawar, Ali Wazir released from jail
HARIPUR: PTM MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir Khan were released from jail in the wee hours of Saturday after their bail came into effect.
The two MNAs were released from jail two days after they were granted bail by the Peshawar High Court in the Kharqamar attack case.
Mohsin and Ali Wazir received a warm welcome when they came out of Haripur jail. A large number of PTM protesters had arrived outside the jail to welcome their supporters.
Mohsin and Ali Wazir were accused of inciting PTM supporters to attack a Pakistan Army checkpost in Kharqamar. While the two MNAs and the PTM denied the claims, Pakistan Army said that the two had led the crowd.
Eleven people had died and several had been injured in the clash.
They were also charged in a murder case when an IED blast at a road in Doga Macha, North Waziristan, martyred four army personnel.
However, an anti-terrorism court gave the two bail in the case.
