PESHAWAR: South Waziristan MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir Khan have been granted bail, according to various reports on social media, on Wednesday.
According to reports, the MNAs were granted bail by the Peshawar High Court Bannu bench. A hearing of the case was supposed to take place today (Wednesday).
The lawmakers will be released after legal formalities. According to details, the MNAs have been asked to provide surety bonds worth Rs1 million each.
The two were booked for a clash that took place between PTM supporters and Pakistan Army soldiers at the Kharqamar checkpost. Thirteen people died and several sustained injuries in the clash.
The two were also charged in an instant case on June 7 when an improvised explosive device exploded on a road in Doga Macha, North Waziristan. Four army men were martyred in the attack.
