Hindus protested against Modi in Houston–the media just didn’t show it…
An Indian author and politician Shashi Tharoor showed the world (via his Twitter account) what the mainstream media didn’t–there were Hindus protesting against Hindutva, during the ‘Howdy Modi’ rally.
Fifty-thousand Indians welcomed the Indian prime minister at the ‘Howdy Modi’ rally in India, which was also addressed by President Trump.
However, there were other images as well which the world failed to show. For instance, scores of Hindu protesters stood outside the stadium where the rally took place and spoke out against Hindutva–an ideology that seeks to establish the hegemony of Hindus and the Hindu way of life.
Indian politician and author Shashi Tharoor showed the images via his Twitter account.
“What Indian media did not show: the other messaging by NRI protesters in Houston. They are not anti-Hindu, they are mainly proud Hindus who object to the hijacking of Hinduism by bigots, lynchers & vigilantes,” he tweeted.

During the rally, Modi took a shot at Pakistani authorities when he said:-
“Some people are experiencing a lot of pain over what we are doing in Kashmir. They are those people who can’t even manage their own country,” he said.
