Ayesha Malik takes a jibe at Priyanka Chopra again
The recent controversy surrounding Priyanka Chopra had hardly settled down concerning the UN Goodwill ambassador’s warmongering stance, that another tweet from Ayesha Malik resurfaced the fiasco.
The video of Pakistani-American blogger Ayesha Malik confronting the UNICEF ambassador for her jingoistic stance when tensions between Pakistan and India were high went viral on the internet— with people further calling out the actress for having the mic snatched from Ayesha Malik.
Taking to Twitter with an old video of Priyanka Chopra speaking on the importance of educating women, about last year, Malik came up with another sardonic take against the actress.
In the video, the actress can be heard saying that her place of privilege does not hinder her from paying for the education of her domestic worker’s daughter.
“As entertainers and influencers sitting in this room, I feel that it is our responsibility to be a voice for the voiceless. I applaud every woman in this room for using your platform and your voice to contribute to change and for ensuring that there is not even one lost generation as long as we are alive,” she says in the video.
I totally agree with you. Now let them speak truth to power without snatching the mic away from them. https://t.co/CrZfsfREft
