Asad looking forward for ICC Test Championship’s opener against Australia
Shafiq said that he know that there are plenty of hopes from him in Test cricket especially after the departure of Misbah and Younis
KARACHI: Pakistan’s Test batsman Asad Shafiq is looking forward to fill in the gaps for the national team in batting department when they take on Australia in their first series of ICC Test Championship next month.
While talking to reporters in Karachi on Friday, Shafiq said that he know that there are plenty of hopes from him in Test cricket especially after the departure of Misbah and Younis.
Shaif added “See, things are getting quite better. Earlier, the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy matches used to finish even in just two days. But this time, we have observed a slight difference in the quality of pitches.”
While responding to a query about Quad-e-Azam Trophy match against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh’s skipper said that they have inspected the pitch which has some grass on it and will help fast bowlers this time around.
