Yousuf disappointed with PCB’s attitude: report
Former Pakistan batting great Mohammad Yousuf has said that he was close to being appointed the new Under-19 coach before the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) backed out of the deal, Daily Jang reported.
Yousuf told the Urdu daily that he had been promised by both the PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani and Director Academies Mudassar Nazar that he was going to be appointed soon.
“I had told the PCB to assign me any batsman who has flaws, but the board dismissed by case,” he said.
Yousuf said that the PCB “created a deadlock out of the blue and ended things”.
“I am disappointed with the PCB’s attitude,” Yousuf is quoted as saying by Jang. “The things that the PCB has said about me in the media are contrary to the facts.”
