Wasim Akram grills Sarfaraz for his decision of bowling first against India in CWC 2019
Former legendary pacer Wasim Akram asked Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed to explain his decision of not batting first in their World Cup 2019 game against arch-rivals India.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Cricket Committee had a meeting in Lahore to review the team’s performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England. In the meeting, the 53-year-old former Pakistan skipper asked Sarfaraz to explain his decision of not batting first.
Sarfaraz was reportedly baffled after Akram pointed out that even Imran Khan, the prime minister of the country who lead the World Cup-winning campaign for Pakistan in 1992 suggested batting first after winning the toss.
