Salman Khan cancels US concert with Mika Singh over Pakistan trip
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has cancelled his US concert with singer Mika Singh after the latter courted controversy by performing in Pakistan.
If Mika Singh thought he was out of the woods with his apology to the The Federation of Western India Cine Employees association (FWICE), he was wrong.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently distanced himself from the singer over his performance in Karachi.
According to a leading news website who spoke to someone close to Salman, the actor wanted to put some distance between him and Mika after the latter performed at a wedding in Karachi.
Mika Singh had performed at a wedding in Karachi of a relative of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf. The FWICE imposed a ban on the artist and warned that anyone who worked with him would also face a similar ban.
“If any artist works with Mika, then he or she too could face a similar ban,” read a statement.
