ISLAMABAD: Members of the Hindu community of Pakistan decorated the parliament with the country’s national colours, on Tuesday.

The gesture of good faith was shared by the official Twitter account of the Government of Pakistan as it showed a large decoration representing the Pakistani flag in green and white colours in the parliament.

“The Hindu Community of Pakistan decorated the Parliament with green and white colours of Pakistan,” read the caption.

The joint session of the parliament has been summoned by President Alvi keeping in mind the deteriorating situation of law and order in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

India scrapped Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the state in two Union portions. Pakistan rejected India’s unilateral decision and announced support for the people in Kashmir.
