Maryam Nawaz arrest: Furious Bilawal walks out of parliamentary session
ISLAMABAD: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari walked out in anger after news broke that PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had been arrested by NAB, on Thursday.
Bilawal stood up and started shouting in the parliament as soon as news broke that Maryam Nawaz was arrested.
“History will remember that Imran Khan, who used to talk about justice, threw Maryam Nawaz in jail before conviction,” he screamed.

Bilawal said that he was walking out of the parliamentary session to register his protest at the incident.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday arrested Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz.
The bureau had summoned the daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif today for inquiry in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case but she requested pardon in order to meet her father.
NAB officials took Maryam into custody today when she arrived at Kot Lakpath jail to meet her father who is serving jail time in Avenfield case.
It is pertinent to mention that the NAB officials have also taken Yusuf Abbas, nephew of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, into custody in the Chaudhry Sugar Mill case.
According to details, the two PML-N leaders have been shifted to NAB office.
