Karachi’s private schools to be closed on Thursday
All Sindh Private Schools’ Association announced the decision earlier
KARACHI: Rain has forced the All Sindh Private Schools’ Association to announce that all private schools across the city will remain closed on Thursday, August 29.
This was announced by the private schools’ association on Wednesday night after most parts of the city received ample rainfall.
The private schools association’s president, Haider Ali, said that the decision had been taken keeping in mind the difficulty that teachers and students both would have to face in coming to schools.
Heavy rain lashed various parts of the city on Wednesday, a couple of days after the Met Office predicted the same.
The Met Office has claimed that the city would receive rainfall on Thursday and also on Friday.
Power outages were experienced across the city as the rain continued.
