In pictures & videos: Rain wreaks havoc in Karachi
KARACHI: As the heavens opened up and 200mm rain lashed the metropolitan on Saturday and Sunday, almost every major road in Karachi was submerged in water.
Two brothers were electrocuted to death in the city and many more were injured. Power outages and difficulties in communication and traveling were experienced.
Rescue teams and NGOs were on the streets trying to bring relief to the people who were stranded in the rain.
