I know your heart is not with Modi Sarkar: Fawad tells CM of India’s Punjab
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday responded to the criticism of Chief Minister of India’s Punjab state following his appeal to Punjabi personnel of Indian military to refuse duty in the Indian-occupied Kashmir.
In a tweet earlier in the day, Chaudhry urged Punjabi military personnel of India to deny order to be stationed in the Indian-occupied Kashmir, where a strict curfew was in force for the night straight day.
Chaudhry’s tweet, however, drew an angry response from Capt. Amarinder Singh who is serving as the Chief Minister of India’s Punjab state bordering Pakistan.
“Stop trying to interfere in India’s internal matter. And let me tell you that the Indian Army is a disciplined and nationalist force, unlike your Army, Fawad Chaudhry. Your provocative statement will not work, nor will the Soldiers in our Army follow your divisive diktats,” Mr Singh responded to Chaudhry’s appeal on Twitter.
In reply, Chaudhry called the Indian politician a good man and reiterated his stance on Kashmir.
“Capt. Amarinder Singh G you are a good man and I know your heart is not with Modi Sarkar actions, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere I hope you ll support Just cause of Kashmiris n ll reject fascism of RSS/BJP in Kashmir and elsewhere … thx u,” added Chaudhry.
