Hafeez slams journalist for mocking him after Steyn’s retirment from Test

Veteran Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez slammed senior sports journalist for mocking him after South African speedster Dale Steyn announced retirement from Test cricket.

A Pakistani journalist, Saleem Khaliq took opportunity to mock Hafeez on Twitter. Hafeez has already retired from Test cricket but continue to play in the limited-overs games for Pakistan.

Journalist tried to mock Hafeez after Steyn announced his Test retirement, indirectly saying that the Proteas bowler dismissed him many times in all formats, though, Hafeez clearly understood his intents and gave him a befitting reply.

He wrote on Twitter: “Dale Steyn announced his Test retirement, CC: Mohammad Hafeez.”

Hafeez responded by saying he wasn’t sure if Steyn made the right or wrong decision, but called him a pure journalist. He tweeted, “Right or Wrong, not sure. But u r Pure Journalist,”

Meanwhile, Saleem Khaliq replying to Hafeez tweet: “Dear it’s just a joke”
