Dhoni plans to open cricket academy in Jammu & Kashmir
Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni is reportedly planning to open a cricket academy in Kashmir to train the youngsters.
According to report by Circle of Cricket, Dhoni will not charge a fee for the academy. He will ask for the Sports Ministry’s permission for the same after the things normalize in the valley.
Dhoni, who is also a Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army, is currently serving with his unit in Jammu and Kashmir. He will continue his duty in Kashmir as a part of Victor Force until August 15.
He has taken a two-month break from the Indian cricket team to stay with his 106 TA Battalion (Para). As a result, he is not touring with the Indian team to the West Indies.
