At least 24 feared dead in Kohistan bus plunge
ISLAMABAD:At least 24 were feared dead and two were injured after a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Upper Kohistan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
The bus was carrying 35 passengers, including women and children.
According to Geo News, all the passengers belonged to the same family and were travelling to attend a function.
Raja Abdul Saboor, a senior police officer, said the final death toll will be announced after completion of the probe.
According to reports, police and rescue officials were facing difficulties in carrying out the relief and rescue operation due to darkness and lack of equipment.
