PCB in search of new head coach, selection committee: sources

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is looking for a new head coach for Pakistan men’s cricket team after the team’s failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Sources privy to Dunya News told that the PCB is looking for a new head coach and former Zimbabwe’s former wicket-keeper batsman Andy Flower and Pakistan’s spin meastro Saqlain Mushtaq are strong contenders for this job.

Zimbabwe’s Andy flower remained England coach for five years. The PCB is also considering to appoint separate captains for the Test matches and the limited-overs.

According to sources, selection committee – led by Inzamam-ul-Haq is also likely to be replaced.
