THE HAGUE: The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Wednesday rejected India’s plea to quash death sentence awarded to convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav by Pakistani military court.

The Hague-based UN court, however, suspended Jadhav’s death sentence and directed Pakistan to grant consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav.

As expected, media commentators and politicians from both sides have claimed legal and diplomatic victory for their respective sides.

This is how Twitter reacted to the ICJ’s verdict.
