Former Proteas cricketer Kallis calls for few changes in ODI cricket
CAPE TOWN: Former Proteas batting great Jacques Kallis has called for a few changes in the One Day International (ODI) cricket.
Kallis feels that there is a need for the change in the powerplay rules, as now the bowlers are allowed four fielders outside of the ring between 11 and 40 overs.
According to Sport24, Kallis said that he do feel there need to be one or two little tweaks going forward because he think bowlers are really finding it tough on good wickets.
“It is important that there is that balance between bat and ball in one-day cricket and by having that extra fielder out, by having wickets that offer the bowlers a little bit of something,” former South African cricketer added further.
