Federal Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui’s car stolen from MQM-P HQ
KARACHI: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui’s car was stolen from MQM-P’s Bahadurabad headquarters, on Tuesday morning.
A CCTV footage shows the car being stolen by a number of suspects. The car was stolen from the parking lot of the MQM-P headquarters’ parking lot.
The footage obtained from the Bahadurabad office of the party is not clear hence the faces of the suspects cannot be identified. MQM-P’s office bearers are trying to use the cameras of nearby shops and buildings to identify the suspects and report them to the police.
According to Geo News, the car was registered under the name of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF), the party’s charity orgnisation. However, it was used by Dr Siddiqui whenever he came to Karachi.
The federal minister is reportedly talking to authorities to to ensure recovery of his stolen new car.
