Despite lack of funds,we’re working for hockey’s revival: PHF President
KARACHI: The President of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said that the government has not released funds for them since October 2017.
While talking to reporters at Abdul Sattar Hockey Stadium in Karachi on Thursday, Khokhar said “We don’t have funds but still we are working for betterment of hockey.”
President PHF said that some forces were creating unnecessary disturbance in Karachi Hockey Association (KHA).
“There is no grouping in the KHA but some people are doing propaganda against it,” Khokhar added further.
Meanwhile, the secretary PHF Asif Bajwa announced to make Saeed Ghani as the President of Sindh Hockey Association (SHA) while Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah as President of KHA, while former Olympian Hanif Khan will be the Director of National Hockey Championship, which will begin from July 23 in Karachi.
