Captain Aqib Javed martyred in Balochistan attack laid to rest
QUETTA: Captain Aqib Javed, who embraced martyrdom in an attack in Balochistan, was buried with complete military honour on Sunday.
He was laid to rest in his hometown, Sargodha.
President Arif Alvi and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa laid floral wreath at the martyr’s grave.
The martyred captain was to be married on August 24, according to his family.
Terrorists opened fire on Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan troops, martyring four personnel including the captain.
The attack took place when the FC Balochistan troops were carrying out a combing and sensitisation operation between Hushab and Turbat area. Four FC personnel, including officer, martyred in Balochistan terrorist attack
The martyrs were identified as Captain Aaqib Javed, Sepoy Nadir, Sepoy Atif Altaf and Sepoy Hafeezullah, the ISPR said.
