Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq is confident that he has been performing well at the top of the order and the team is heavily relying on mine and Babar’s performance.

“Obviously, I’m playing well – and this team depends on me and Babar (Azam),” he said.
He said that when Babar got out, it was then his responsibility and he was going well but it was not a good ball that got me out.

Imam is disappointed with the way Pakistan lost to Australia and how he threw away his wicket after doing all the hard work and scoring 53 runs off 75 balls on a tricky batting track.

He said that he prefers to score 30 runs in a winning cause rather than  a century in a losing effort.
However, Imam expressed his excitement for the most anticipated game of the World Cup 2019 against the arch-rivals, India on June 16 at Old Trafford.
