Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed said that he aims to repeat the aggression his side showed against England when they will face defending champions Australia in their World Cup fixture on Wednesday.

Green Shirts were defeated by West Indies in their opening match of the tournament, however, they outclassed tournament’s favourites England in their next game at Nottingham. The game against Sri Lanka at Bristol last Friday was washed out.

Sarfaraz said he is confident of a good show against Aussies. “Will go as positive and aggressive as we were against England,” he said

Australia were beaten by India at Oval on Sunday before coming to Taunton, after defeating Afghanistan and West Indies in their opening games of the tournament.

Sarfaraz further said he is well aware of Australia’s strength and the return of Warner and Smith has made Australia a much stronger.

The match will start at 2:30pm PST.
