Firdous takes swipe at Shehbaz on Pakistan return
LAHORE: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has taken a dig at Shehbaz Sharif after his return to Pakistan from the UK.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan hoped that Shehbaz Sharif would not go back to London and appear before courts regularly.
“Shehbaz Sharif is returning to Pakistan after converting his two-week relief to a two-month holiday,” she wrote, alleging that the opposition had made a failed attempt to get an NRO from the government during his stay in London.
“The way Shehbaz Sharif was seen walking around the streets of London streets, it doesn’t seem he has any health issues,” she said.
The SAPM said it would have been better if Shehbaz Shaarif had brought Ishaq Dar, his son and son-in-law with him to fulfill legal requirements.
