The video shows Ali Wazir Khan leading a group of PTM workers, wearing garlands. All of a sudden, the workers start running as gunshots can be heard.
The ISPR claimed on Sunday that an armed group led by PTM MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir attacked an army checkpost in Boyya, North Waziristan.
Ali Wazir was taken into custody while Mohsin Dawar managed to escape. One Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in the attack and four others were injured.
MNA Ali Wazir was produced in an anti-terrorism court in Bannu on Monday, a day after his arrest during the clash.
According to sources, ATC judge handed over the lawmaker to the counter-terrorism department (CTD) on an eight-day physical remand.
Geo quoted a source as saying that Ali Wazir was moved to Peshawar from Bannu.
Ten people belonging to the PTM were injured in the attack. The PTM leadership rejected Pakistan Army’s version and claimed that they were shot at indiscriminately.
