PM Khan reaffirms resolve to transform Pakistan’s economy
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday reaffirmed his his resolve to transform Pakistan into the fastest growing economy in the region.
Addressing a fund-raiser for for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Islamabad, PM Khan said that his government had inherited the most difficult circumstances with a record foreign debt and huge economic deficit.
The PM, however, said that Pakistan would become a regional economic hub.
The prime minister also took a shot at an informal meeting of opposition parties, saying that those who are gathering in the name of safeguarding democracy are the main cause for country’s backwardness.
