PM Khan, first lady Bushra Bibi offer Umrah
MADINA: Prime Minister Imran Khan, along with first lady Bushra Maneka, offered Umrah on Thursday before departing for Jeddah on Thursday.
The prime minister paid respect at Roza-e-Rasool (S.A.W) and offered Nawafil prayers in Medina. He also offered Namaz-e-Asar (Asr prayers in Masjid-e-Navbi S.A.W).
PM Khan is on a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia with his wife to attend the 14th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) being held in Makkah on May 31.
The prime minister will represent the country at the summit titled ‘Makkah Summit: Together For The Future” on Friday, hosted by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The convention aims at developing a unified stance of Muslim leaders on rising tensions in the Gulf.
