As the holy month of Ramadan is about to begin, Chinese diplomat has categorically rejected all the news on media related to ban on Muslims for fasting in the Chinese region Xinjiang.

According to details, some media reports revealed that the Communist Party in China has restricted Chinese Muslims in various places from observing religious practices in accordance with their teachings.

In response to this, DCM, Chinese Embassy in the federal capital, Zhao Lijian on his official Twitter Handle wrote “Wasn’t this a story of 2015? I would like to clarify Muslims are free to fast in Xinjiang.”

“Restrictions are with Communist party members, who are atheists; government officials, who shall discharge their duties; students who are with compulsory education & hard learning tasks.”

Chinese DCM also retweeted one post of social media user Eva Zheng who posted a video showing the religious freedom which Muslims avail in China
